These terms govern use of this website and the online services for Friends, patrons, donors and activity participants.

1. Organisation and scope

This website is operated by Collegium Vocale Gent vzw, Drongenhof 42, 9000 Ghent, Belgium, BE 0439.381.987. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms and any conditions shown at checkout.

2. Friend memberships

A Friend membership starts in the month of activation and remains valid for 12 months. Benefits depend on the selected tier, availability and the published programme. A recurring membership continues to be charged according to the checkout schedule until cancelled. To request cancellation before the next charge, email vrienden@collegiumvocale.com. Cancellation does not normally shorten a period already paid for, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

3. Patronage and gifts

Patronage is generally annual. One-off gifts do not create a membership unless expressly stated. Belgian tax certificates are only issued when the legal conditions are met. Membership fees and contributions with consideration may not qualify. Donors outside Belgium should obtain independent advice on local tax treatment.

4. Payments

Online payments are handled by Stripe. Prices and billing frequency are shown before confirmation. If payment fails, access or benefits may be paused while we contact you. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

5. Activities and registration

Friends activities may have limited capacity. Registration is only confirmed when you receive confirmation from Collegium Vocale Gent. We may adjust time, location, artists or content when reasonably necessary. If an activity is cancelled, we will inform registered participants using the available contact details.

6. Account security

When the Friend area is enabled, passwordless sign-in links are personal. You must protect access to your email account and notify us if you suspect misuse. We may suspend access to protect participants or the service.

7. Website content

Text, images, recordings, trademarks and design are protected by intellectual property rights. Personal, non-commercial viewing is permitted. Reproduction, redistribution or commercial use requires prior written permission.

8. External services and availability

The site links to payment, concert and social platforms operated by third parties. Their terms may apply. We aim for reliable access but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every external page remains unchanged.

9. Liability and law

To the extent permitted by law, Collegium Vocale Gent is not liable for indirect loss caused by use or temporary unavailability of the website. Belgian law applies, without removing mandatory protections available to consumers. Disputes fall under the competent Belgian courts unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
